Who are we?
About myself
Welcome to this website!
I'm Isabelle, born in 1973 as the youngest in a large family. As a child,
I often spent time with my rabbits in the woods behind our house in the Kempen region. It was during these peaceful moments that I wrote my first stories, inspired by the animals around me.
Later, my two wise sons came into my life, filling my world with inspiration. In my child and youth coaching practice, I have the privilege of guiding young people through their challenges. For them, I write stories about the emotions they carry, fear of failure, insecurity, high-sensitivity, grief, the urge to please, anxiety, and so much more. So many children think they are alone in these feelings. But through the adventures of Lizzie and Lou, they discover that they never are.
With every story, I want them to know their feelings are valid and that being seen and heard can bring comfort. And I hope these stories create space for conversations with parents, grandparents, neighbors, therapists, or teachers. Most of all, I want them to find joy in the adventures of Lizzie and Lou.
Jonathan is our jack of all trades.
This creative all-rounder is responsible for the design of our books, the website, all printed materials, social media... he doesn't shy away from any creative challenge.
